WHO WE ARE.

Based in Singapore, we are a boutique studio in Singapore specializing in the rental and sale of traditional Chinese wedding attires – Qun Kua (裙褂), Ma Kua (马褂) and Xiu He Fu (秀禾服). Starting out as a home-based business, we have since ventured out to our private space at Queensway Shopping center and expanded our offerings to include a wide variety of design and traditional accessories.

OUR PHILOSOPHY.

Who says culture has to be boring! At SG Wedding Kua, we have painstakingly curated timeless traditional wedding attires so that you will be able to find your personal style.

Born out of first-hand experiences, we truly understand the difficulties in finding the perfect attire for an oriental-styled wedding / tea ceremony. With a million and one thing to worry about on your special day, we will be here to walk you through the entire selection and fitting process.

A one stop solution for your traditional wedding attire needs, we provide both rental and sales for traditional Chinese wedding attires for both brides and groom as well as accompanying accessories such as traditional hair accessories (头饰), Chinese fan (团扇), Chinese veil (盖头), red hydrangea (绣球), shoes.

I was so glad that I found SG Wedding KUA when my Kua from Taobao was delayed. I recalled being late for at least 30 minutes for the appointment I fixed with SG wedding KUA but Liquan was very kind to wait for us knowing that we need the Chinese wedding gown urgently for our Pre-Wedding Shoot. Even though we were late, he did not rush us to make a decision but instead he patiently went through with us all the Chinese wedding gown that is available and the items that are included in the rental! He even provides constructive recommendation and helped us find the most suitable Chinese wedding gowns. Their Chinese wedding gowns are also priced reasonably and includes many accessories (Hats, Fans, Hair accessories and Chinese accessories). Had an excellent experience renting my wedding kua for myself and my husband. They were not pushy and the prices were reasonable. The rental included hair accessories, jewellery, props (sunglasses, Chinese fans, hats) and veil. They were patient and accommodative to my wedding schedule and provided the flexibility I needed for my overseas wedding. The kuas had a more silky luxe feel to it and were of better quality as compared to those available at some wedding shops locally or those from taobao. Would have been great if there are more Kua selection for male. Nevertheless, I definitely would recommend renting wedding kuas from here.

The shop has a good selection of Qua to choose from and the staff was very helpful in the selection process. I had a very pleasant experience with them. Recommend if you wish to wear Qua for a photoshoot or the day of your wedding!
